It was really a clash of powers as two final year (or so) students from the department of Computer Science, challenged each other on who had the power to conduct a preliminary election for a course rep of the 100level Computer Science students 2015/2016 academic year.

The duo (names and posts withheld), almost dealt a near fight word tussle as one disagreed on the other over constituted authority.
According to our Uniben Reports Source (URS), the shocked 100level students stood as they watched the drama onfold over who had the right to conduct an election.
One alleged that he was wrong in calling out the Computer Science 100l students without the presence of the required personnels, the other however affirmed that he had the sole right to do whatever he wishes without anyone challenging his authority. Consequently, the duo were calmed down by their friends and even by some of the freshers too.
The students were dismissed on the grounds that the supposed election of a course rep was just baseless, stating that in future, another election would be conducted.
However one of the 400l students swore that he would have dealt miserably with his colleague had it not been the expellation ban placed on any student caught fighting in the school irrespective of status or class.
